WHY CRICKETS?

We seem to share the 97.3FM frequency with a country station to our south so when we turn our transmitter on and off it can be a pretty abrupt transition between our programming and theirs. So we provide a 30-60 second buffer of crickets to let you know it’s time to turn your radio off.
